Prakruthi was established in 1991 as a child rights organisation with specific focus on bridging the digital divide prevalent in the society among the elite and the masses. In its long journey spanning over a decade and a half Prakruthi has established itself in the world of digital management by creating appropriate learning software for the underprivileged children in India. It has also been able to establish a Learning Centre (computer-focussed) of repute and create jobs for as many as two dozen youth in some of the best and well-known IT companies in Bangalore.
The work of Prakruthi today embraces the areas of community development, child and youth development, corporate social responsibility, and creative and performing arts.
